About

I am an oil painter working from life, focussed on observational painting and the Atelier method.

Following my career in fashion, I have trained in classical drawing and alla prima painting techniques, I place a strong emphasis on light, form and colour and my work explores direct engagement with the subject through sustained study from life.

My training at the London School of Fine Art in Battersea has included life drawing, portraiture and still life.

As well as oil painting, I particularly enjoy charcoal drawing.
